Text Box: What is the Otterhound Club?
The Otterhound Club is an organisation formed in 1978 by a concerned group of people comprising members of otterhunts and members of the general dog world, working together with the Kennel Club to create a club framework to promote and ensure the survival of this very rare and ancient British breed of hound.

The Otterhound Club has a particular responsibility towards the otterhound as, although the Otterhound Club of America is older, we are the mother club representing the otterhound in it's country of origin.
