The Otterhound Cub is a members society registered with the Kennel Club, open to all who love and care for or have an interest in our wonderful amiable, very rare, highly endangered British breed, otterhounds.
The club is organised by a set of rules and code of conduct drawn up by members in annual general meeting to ensure that every possible activity is encouraged for the socialisation of hounds and the enjoyment of their owners.
To this end the club carries out all business as required by the Kennel Club, runs shows, represents the breed at discover dogs in London and at Crufts, and organises judging seminars to train future judges of the breed.
Members of the club organise tracking events, organise fun days, regular walks with a Christmas party and fund raising. (information on our calendar of events page) A member writes a regular blog "Rocky - the endangered otterhound" following rocky from the day he went to his new home weekly through his daily life, this is excellent reading for everyone thinking of having an otterhound at any time as it gives a full insight into the great delights and occasional problems of living with an otterhound.

The club produces a newsletter 3 times per year to inform and include members through their input and hound stories.
