Stoneleigh 28th August 2022

Despite two cancellations due to Covid restrictions, Edition Dog Live magazine show finally took place at Stoneleigh on 28th August. 

As it was the first event Edition Dog had put on, it was a bit small but, as there was an really good number of visitors to the show, I think that the show could easily expand and improve in the future 

The show was based on a complete holistic approach to dog ownership including health, alternative therapies, nutrition (so plenty of free samples) and behaviour (ha! ha!). 

Thanks to some wonderful volunteers we had an excellent turn- out of hounds to represent the breed. The old hands of Dougal, Juergen and Spocket mentoring the new boys, Duke and Loki, in what was a challenging environment with a lot of noise and the general public being allowed to bring their own dogs as well. 

Luckily, all the dogs had plenty of time for some of their own rest and recuperation - Dougal had a little Reiki therapy and Juergen even managed to fit in a well deserved massage. 

As with all Otterhound 'meet the breed' events, the hounds excelled in being wonderful ambassadors and, quite rightly, stole the hearts of all those that met them.
